2014 Titanium Sport (left & right) Exhaust

Featured Replies

Rear exhaust box has come disconnected from its pipe - presumably corrosion.

I figured replacing both & y-pipe may be prudent.

Ford quoting me £2000 to replace Left + right + Y-pipe. 🫨

Any suggestions re more economical sources?

Also, does anyone know what years those parts are compatible with (so I know what too look for on eBay)?

Many thanks.

Why not call in to KwikFit and get a free estimate from them so you have a comparison?

Or consider a custom made system eg: https://www.powerflowexhausts.co.uk/

I’ve been with the same problem earlier this year but on 2.5T (2007) engine. Left one rusted right where the pipe goes in to the muffler. Standard fail place.

I am pretty sure all models with twin pipes have the same back ends, diesel 2.2, petrol 2.0T and 2.5T. Not 100%.

There is no alternative on the market. In the end I bought it from Ford, just the left one which has Y part and it cost me 580€. I know right one costs similar price.

You can get “alternative” from german company Fox. Whole rear end(L, R & Y) for 700pounds. It is direct replacement for original, no papers needed (TUV certificatec etc).

I did not go for it because I am not sure how much louder it is vs stock. I had drone issues in the past with Milltek on my Focus ST. Stock version for smax is super quiet, I like it.
