Hi I have recently bought a ford Focus 62 plate and the drivers floor and rear osr passager floor it wet anyone any idea why and is it fixable

    A wet floor in a 2012 Focus is standard 🤔

    Check the boot and the spare wheel well, probably find it's like a duck pond.

    The boots fine first place I checked but because that’s dry make me wonder why the floors wet just on the drivers side

    Leaking from the pipes on the side of the heater matrix (drivers side) is another favorite place.

    So you've very recently bought your car. Did the dealer you got it from give the car a detail clean? Sometimes those who do the cleaning are a bit zealous and drown interiors.

    A leaking heater matrix has been mentioned. Check the water level in the expansion tank. If its low then possibly the matrix is leaking But is there a smell? If no smell then possibly a knackered door seal.

    Oh. Which engine is in your car?

    The car was spotless so maybe they did and it’s 1.6diesel maybe the seals it’s in the garage so will have to check

    Most of them have delaminated by that age and may have been cut off
