Coolant top up

Featured Replies

My coolant level in my focus got slightly under minimum so decided to top it up, topped it up to just under maximum then i started the car and i noticed it revved higher to around 1k rpm and it was using more fuel at idle than normal but after like 5 minutes it returned to normal, took it for a drive and it seemed sluggish but might have just been me as i had it in my head there was a possible issue, checked level again and it seems to be exactly where i filled it to.

This normal? only had to top it up a little and used carplan demon which can go in any car and is mixed so i cant see it being the coolant that caused it maybe it was just one of those things that happens but happened at a time just after i topped up coolant making me think i somehow did it wrong.

You can't do it wrong.

This is either placebo or coincidence.
