Focus Mk3 Fuse(s)- side and tail lamps

Had both my front side/parking lamps fail last week and assumed it was a blown fuse.

The owners manual shows a lot of fuse information but I couldn't find any specific detail for the subject lights.

I decided to remove the headlamp assemblies (for info this takes less than 5 mins = 4 screws) and was surprised to find a previous owner had fitted LED's.

Replaced them with standard 5w 501's and all is now fine.

Surprised that the LED's failed, and apparently both together.

Does anyone know what fuse I should've checked first?

    There isn't one.  They're protected through the BCM iirc.
