Ford focus 1.6 tdci engine wiring

Featured Replies

At a loss here. Sent me car to a garage to have the headgasket done. Garage rang said sorry you have a cracked block and the cost was rising and rising so told them stop the work and I will collect the car. I purchased a second engine but with them doing the previous pull apart I've no idea where the engine wiring harness goes. Plugs n sockets all over 😂😂any 1 got an idea cheers. Focus 2014 1.6 tdci

The best idea is to find someone with a 1.6 TDCi Focus or Fiesta etc and ask them to pop over so you can see where to start.

Most of the plugs will be Pokey_Yoked so you can't connect to the wrong port or the cables will be be just enough the correct length to reach the correct port.

The most obvious, unique, connector is the fuel rail pressure sensor, start with that and work your way out.

Lay it out first before you start connecting and trial the plugs till you get it right, you'll find it's not that bad
