headlamp leveller

Featured Replies

on my ford focus 2011 titanium mk3, the lights all work fine, but the small headlamp adjuster button in the centre of the light switch which alters the headlamp level does not do anything, the fuse is ok but the headlamp level does not alter, anyone got any ideas as to what the fault is ?

I believe the titanium has xenon headlights, so they’re self levelling, the small button you are pressing is the fog light button, if you have xenon’s, you can tell if you have, as you will have led day running lights. IMG_2198.thumb.jpeg.889e1051e53d58af0833bb4a60e7d953.jpeg

Titanium doesn't have Xenon headlights as standard.  Only Titanium X & ST3.

Are you rotating the 'pop out' button ?

yes tried all that, i have just realised that above the obd socket there is a multi pin plug dangling, which i thought was surplus wiring, i know think it must be for the headlamp levelling unit which does not appear to be there, so i think there in lies the problem. i shall find a replacement unit and hope it cures the problem, thanks to all who replied, bukko0

There's only one plug for all functions on the light switch assembly.  That wiring must be for something else. 🤔
