That's an odd resistance.

If it had been: Short-Circuit, or Open-Circuit, or 60 Ohm, or 120 Ohm, I could have given you a reason.

If you short your multimeter leads together what resistance do they have ? Mine on my Fluke meter always read 0.03 Ohm, so was just wondering if at least part of that 0.11 Ohm is just the meter leads and that you are really seeing a short-circuit of the Canbus system.

When I connect them up is show 0.0 but then goes to 0.1 then back to 0

Then I think the Canbus is Short-Circuit.

Start by disconnecting the instrument cluster and then recheck the resistance at the OBDII socket

Ok checked I'm getting nothing when cluster is out

Sorry, just need to confirm what you mean by nothing.

Does your meter read 0.00 (approx) or does it read 'OC' (or what ever your meter shows for an open-circuit).

The fact that something has changed when the IC has been disconnected is at least a start in the right direction.

0.00 nothing shows at all no ohms just 0.00

So that is a Short-Circuit.

I suspect then that the wiring harness may be damaged, but in order to confirm that you need to unplug each of the modules, including the ABS pump and leave all of them disconnected and then recheck the resistance. If it is still 0.00 (Short-Circuit) then the harness is damaged. If the resistance is Open-Circuit then one of the modules has a fault.

Harnesses not damaged

When swapping the engine the dash has to come with it according to this old swap guide. The guy thought it was bad earth's and when he swapped the dash the car came into life https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=47&t=1546408&i=0

In fact it was so long since I read it it was actually the earth that was the problem in the end the front most earth point check the earth's.

When I read the code it says ecu not awake I can only get into the ic and it says this
