can anyone recommend me any smaller/independent car insurance providers? sick of the big companies

    I’ve just gone back to Chris Knott. They are a broker so it’s underwritten by someone like LV but all your communication is with them. All brokers and smaller “insurers” will be like that though. 
     

    They typically provide their best price by beating an online comparison. But if your insurance is already really cheap (less than £400) they might not be able to get that low. 
     

    There is also Adrian Flux to try.

    Chris Knott said they couldn't insure the car haha. My cheapest option is £1600 on a multi car policy with my dad at LV which I just pay him for, probably just need to stick there for now. Am 18 so just need to figure out when to bite the bullet and get myself my own policy.
