FOCUS ECOBOOST 1.5 (150HP) AUTO - REVS AT 80MPH

Featured Replies

Interested in buying a mk4 focus ecoboost 1.5 (150hp) with the automatic box.

How many revs does it do at 80mph?

I don't want it to be too loud at that speed.

Thanks,

How would anyone in the UK be able to answer that ? 🤣

Don't know about the auto but my manual 1.5 does 3k revs at 80. I have to stress I only found out when I very first drove the car and wasn't acquainted with it and inadvertently found myself travelling at that speed.

I'm 7'11 and 28 stone built like a brick out house.

I do break the speed limits quite regularly.

Which of the above is true?

Tbf, anyone that's driven to the European continent 😉

It will be less than the manual as the 8th gear is taller than the manual's 6th
