Transit connect 1.8tdci 110 RPN/ turbo issue?

Featured Replies

Hi guys! I’m having trouble with my Ford, so long story short- when motor is cold everything is fine, I can get revs up to 4000 and more rpms, but when I start to ride after no more than 5 minutes it looses power, I cannot get rpms above 1k, black/gray smoke appears, but on idle car works fine, see video link to YouTube. What’s interesting is that if I switch it off and start it immediately the problem is still there, but if I restart the car after an 1 hour everything works fine. Egr has been closed and uninstalled in system, no errors on computer and no warning lights on panel. For me it seems like either engine cools down or something resets after some time, idk. Because if I turn it on after, let’s say 20 minutes then it allows rev up to 2k but not more.

Maybe someone has had similar issues?

sorry, video is in Latvian, but it’s visible that there is no throttle response
