With the TomTom map updates are about every 6 months, anyone know when the next Ford map update might be.

They are released once a year normally, can be more like 18 months though.

They will be about 1 year out of date at that point anyway. Android Auto and Apple Carplay is better for being up to date.

The Ironic thing is that Here Maps, who supply the maps, issue updates for their maps two or three times a year and for their offline Phone App and allow you to download only the parts of the country(s) that you want.

Hyundai release map update and screen updates every 6 months. Just saying. 😂😂

Its a shame that when the update is taking place it does not give you any idea how far it has gone or left to go, ie do I drive to Wales or Scotland

Both, and back again 🤣

The full F12 map update can take over an hour. You can just leave the USB pen in and let it install bit by bit over a few days, just don't remove the USB until it is finished and tells you that it is safe to remove.
