Passenger external mirror not working

Featured Replies

Hi all,

2014 Fiesta with non-folding mirrors.

The passenger side mirror does not tilt and the indicator on it does not work either.

the window goes up and down correctly.

Fuse diagram only has a left door control module which is fine as the window is working.

Forscan shows a few error codes for B1C11,B1C12 and B1D06.

All are related to the mirror and are for circuit short to ground and circuit short to battery open.

Before I take the door panel off to have a look at the wiring is there any other fuses to check or any other ideas?

Probably a broken wire in the door harness to body joint

Or damaged wiring in the mirror head itself

Or someone has fitted a non electric mirror????

I’ve taken the outer plastic off and it is an electric mirror. All the wires are there in tact. Looks like I’ll have to take the door apart and check all the cables and connections. Thank you
