Galaxy engine malfunction

Featured Replies

Hi all

About 4 weeks ago, without warning, my galaxy lost power and engine malfunction notification came on dash, and the traction control warning light. Managed to crawl home, about 2 miles, left it over the weekend. Started on Monday morning, no warning lights no engine malfunction message and running a dream. Took to garage and they found an error code for no 4 injector cleared it but couldn't find a fault so was reluctant to put in a new part that could cost £400 Ran it for 3 weeks not a problem. Then today the same thing happened again. Managed to get home and then tried starting again 1hour later. No warning lights or notifications and running as normal

Any ideas please TAI

Chris

At a guess I'd say possibly an injector. Feeling lucky I'm going to have a second guess, it could be number 4 injector 🤔
