Engine malfunction message

When starting the ford focus 1.8 style in the morning it keeps giving me an “engine malfunction” notice but the engine is running. I switch it off and try again, occasionally it does it again but most times it’s fine. Should o be worried

    Need to get the fault codes read with a Ford specific reader to see what's triggering that warning message.  Until we know what's causing it, can't really say whether you should be worried about it.

    Push the button on the steering wheel to turn off the notification
