Focus MK4, 2.0 110kw, 8 speed automatic gearbox problem

Featured Replies

Hi all, i am proud owner as of 3 months ago of Focus above mentioned. 2 weaks ago, i started noticeing that during movement of the vehicle (in normal driveing mode, automatic settings) when its shifting time at about 1100-1300 rpm/s or above at higher speeds the gearbox starts throtling (my legs are shakeing), at first it was a small shake, but now its bigger and bigger. forscan shows NO "DTC" codes, everything else is normal, engine works normal, no strange sounds. its like when i start to drive easy (older people style) gearbox changes to next gear and car shakes till the moment the RPM passes 2-2,3 thousands. gearbox is classic 8speed. car has 84000 km. its getting colder so this problem is more noticable! ANY IDEA what should I do? next week car goes to the gearbox specialist but i would like to know possible issue before, and/or costs of repair. could it be something not gearbox related? (example the timeing belt?)

Injectors are new! Problem lies in gearbox and or chainbelt. Not solved yet.
