Misfiring when putting foot down

Featured Replies

Hi All . Had the car jumping when I was accelerating on me around 2 weeks ago been to the garage and had new spark plugs and one of the coil pack changed . Picked the car up Friday and it was fine but started jumping when I was putting my foot flat to the floor . But it’s still fine to drive when I’m not putting my foot down . Would changing the other 2 ( Which haven’t been changed ) make a difference or could this be something expensive to do? Thanks

Sadly that's impossible to answer online.

If you can get Forscan on it, that may show which cylinder is misfiring.  Then you'll know if it's the one with the new coil pack or not.

Also, as it's a 10 year old 1.0EB, do you know if the wetbelt belts have been replaced yet?
