Hey everyone,

Brand new to the forum and I have been trying to resolve this issue for a while but with no success.

The bulb in my rear license plate light module (with boot lid button) has gone and it needs replacing.

I've tried looking for parts but apparently the one which I am told it is, doesn't fit the housing and just drops straight out (the clips are too narrow and drops straight through the housing)

The part number I ordered was BM51-19B514-AE

I have saw before that I might need part BM51-19B514-AC but I can't find that anywhere online.

Any help greatly appreciated!

    2011 was a cross over year for Focus models.

    Do you have the last of what was a 2010 model, or the first of the 2012 models ?

    Apologies, its a 2011 (61) reg so always just say 2011 by habit.

    It's the 2012 mark 3 model, Titanium trim (if that makes any difference)

    take a photo and compare them on ebay, i changed mine a few weeks ago and almost got the wrong one going on what eBay was telling me.

    also what you search for will give you different results, boot release and boot tailgate release will give different results.
