Focus DA II 2005 water leak

Featured Replies

Hi all. I have a problem with water dripping from the left rear ventilation. Have had a leak once before and then it was the roof molding (both sides) that needed to be welded. Now it's only on the left side and as the tail light is just outside the valve it could be the gasket that needs to be replaced. I've tried sealing with silicone, but it doesn't help. Could it be somewhere else that the leak could be? Anyone have any tips?

That gasket doesn’t look pretty so could well be the cause of the water leak 🙁

Also worth sealing around the inserts for the lamp screws, the foam gaskets that originally come as part of the locut fixing can simply rot away with time and this legs water leak in.
