*Key Fob/MyKey, Reprogram !?!?!?!*

Focus , Push start operated. Two Keys one working , one doesnt. Whilst fiddling around MyKey was set up , 1 MyKey and 1 Admin Key.

I now have a speed limit set and a volume level set on radio!

I have spent so much time fiddling around, changing batteries , watching you tube videos - NOTHING IS WORKING.

Mechanic had his machine to both keys and both keys have signal - 100%. Car battery has been taken off - the lot.

When MyKey was ACCIDENTALLY added there was an option in the settings to clear this , this has now gone ?

I have come to the conclusion that because both keys are not working you are not able to clear the MyKey?

So first step would be to get the second key to work , how do I do this ... the battery has been changed, we know it has full signal - I have attempted many youtube video suggestions , nothing working.

Does anybody , anybody have some sort of idea on how to resolve this problem ? Its making me sick - surely if we put the MyKey on with only one key working then we can take it off ?

MyKey can be cleared by using FORScan.

You need to first disengage panic mode and think logically.

I'm going to take a guess that:

  1. You have not owned the vehicle from new.
  2. There is (or was, or has been) more than just 2 keys for the vehicle
  3. You have now set both the keys that you have to be "MyKey"
  4. You don't have a third key, which must have existed at some point.

Using FORScan with a vLinker FS cable can clear and reset the two keys you have. It unfortunately can not delete the third key, or how many others there maybe.

Hi Aimee and welcome to the forum. Try a vehicle locksmiths. Yes it'll cost but it would be cheaper than going to a dealer.
