Orange Ambient light - Ford Focus Ghia 2006

Featured Replies

Sorry to borrow these pics from previous post (in 2013).  Im wondering if things have changed since then.

I have the orange Ambient lights coming out of the slits (like below)

However 1 side has gone whilst the other remains.  Are these just bulbs/leds that can be easily changed if I take the interior light out or is it all part of the interior sensor/light console?

If it can be removed/replaced has anyone done this and it is simple for me ((complete car novice)to do or would Ford need to do this?

Ford parts catalogue doesn't list them separately.

You can buy a used assembly for around £20 on eBay.

I suspect they're single use LED fittings but you're welcome to see if you can remove the broken one...can't get more broken!
