Hello every one,I have a Ford fiesta zetec s 2009 which is currently around 180bhp
I’m looking at making it faster but I have no idea how it’s a stage 2 remap with cold air intake and an air filter any suggestions how to make it faster? Is there anything I can buy thanks

You been watching Paul Walker & Vin Diesel too much pal 🤣

I'd be interested to know how the 180 bhp was achieved on a normally aspirated 1.6.

To get further, you could always drop in a different engine such as the Focus 2.3 RS on this thread, don't know if it ever got finished though.....

ST engine swap?  A circa 60 BHP jump on an NA engine is some going, unless a fair wedge of money has been spent.

Mk7 ST was already 180bhp.  Stage 2 map on that would be 230bhp+. 🤔

I'm also interested in what's been done to this - plus a dyno print to prove that BHP figure.

Would expect at least a set of cams needed to pass 150bhp on these.

Yes, the old Ford approved Mountune package on the 1.6 ZS got it to about 140bhp and I think Pumaspeed still offer something similar for around £1500. To get much beyond that would take serious work/expense.

On the other hand for a third of that outlay, they claim 235bhp from the 1.6 ST - just shows the difference the turbo makes. They even claim 400bhp for a mere £8,999!
