Hi guys , 

Won't bore you with the details , but I have just acquired a 67 plate ST line turbo with a dead engine (timing belt teeth stripped).

I'm looking for another engine and my code is H1BG , but a lot of engines I've seen advertised with the same code are 1.1's , mine is a 1.0 (ecoboost presumably) . Any guidance on what's what ? I want to make sure I get the right lump for my fiesta. Thanks

    The plot thickens. Even though the H1BG appears on the rocker box , someone has told me it's a YYJE engine. Any ideas how I make absolutely sure ?

    Are engine codes still printed in the V5 logbook?

    YYJE is the 140ps 1.0 EcoBoost engine.

    I think H1BG is just the start of a longer part number, not the engine number.

    H1BG is the beginning of the generic identifier of parts for the Fiesta Mk8 ecoboost.

    For example:

    Gearbox mount H1BG-6P082-AC

    Engine Mount Fiesta H1BG-7M121-BB

    Crankshaft H1BG-6303-AA
