Zip tie noise then engine cuts out

I have a 2013 ford fiesta, every now & again when I am accelerating & turning my car will make a zip tie noise & completely turn off? Nothing comes up on the dash, just worried because if I don’t pull over in enough time a serious accident could happen

    The zip tie noise is potentially more worrying than the cut out.  It could be electrical arcing which would pose a fire risk.  I would recommend having all the visible cables checked for any heat damage as soon as you can.
