MK4 Battery Removal

Wow - it's completely buried under the windscreen

I can't figure out how to get the air filter lower box out. It has 2 weird clips/nuts holding it in place from the underside. 

Anyone have any advice on removing the lower box please ?

It's just pegs into rubber grommets. Just at give the housing a strong pull upwards. If tight, just spray a bit of wd40 or similar on that area.

Very Appreciated. 

This might help - it's for an S-Max and very helpful when I changed my battery recently.

It took me about 1-hour going slowly and I bought new cable ties to refit the cables from Aliexpress!
