Sync Navigation issue

Hi all 

Hoping someone can help me - on Saturday I was using Sync Navigation for a long journey. About 2 hours into the journey, Navigation vanished and returned to the main Sync home page. 

I pressed Navigation and it worked for a minute or two and then reverted back to the main page again. 

It continued to do this several times and I gave up and ended up using Google maps.

 

Any idea what the issue may be?

    I'm in my car in settings buy can't find General anywhere

    I don't suppose there was any message about the SD card?

    I'd be tempted to try a new SD to see if that cures it, you can pick them up on ebay for about £30 usually.

    Do you get any beeps when it goes back to home, like a phantom press of the touch screen?
