MK2 FL green to red color esp-switch.

Featured Replies

I am going to black out the centre section where the radio and the heated window-buttons are placed. I just got a nice second hand panel, and I am going to change only the front on my existing buttons to keep the red color. They are looking a bit tatty aswell which annoys me😋

BUt, i am wondering if I can use the esp-button in addition or instead of having to go into the menu on the cluster to turn it off? I think i have seen some wires behind the switches that hangs on the blanking plug.

In that case I will need to swap the leds inside to red, which leads me to the question that this thread is all about; does anyone know the values and type for the leds inside the switch?

Thanks a lot in advance for your reply.

I’ve swapped the colour of the LED in my ESP button, or at least the one which indicates when ESP is on or off.

Just got some generic SMD LEDs from memory, was a long time ago when I did this - blacked out my buttons using some black vinyl

Ok, thanks. I have to investigate a bit more about this. Or i'll just get a blanking plug and leave it out😋
