Engine coolant temperature

Featured Replies

Hello, I'm having Ford focus mk4 1.0 (125hp) ecoboost.  On cold days it's taking too long to reach 90C ECM. For example after 12 minute drive I got only 62 C, while outside temperature was -3C.  Petrol engines should warm up faster, right? Any ideas what to check first?

Anyone ?

Does it reach temperature on a longer drive? 12 mins really isn't that much, I wouldn't expect an engine to reach temperature in that time below 0.

I agree with Alex, from your Screenshot you are not driving the car hard enough to get it to full temperature when the ambient temperature is low.

Your Oil Temperature is only 52, this leads me to the above conclusion.
