Tpms Ford focus 2014 mk3 Ecoboost 1.0

Featured Replies

I am getting error tpms sensor not found check handbook. I suspect one or more of tpms sensor has died. Can someone please tell me if you know the OEM number or the part number for the tpms sensor for Ford focus 2014 Ecoboost 1.0 petrol. If there is a eBay link would be great as well. Thanks.

You are best to go into a tyre place to get it done as they need coded and not all the ones for sale are coded to work it does not cost very much to get it done.

The quotes I got from kwikfit is too much it is 120 GBP for one so for 4 it's quite a bit so looking into if I can buy aftermarket sensor from eBay and get it fitted from a tyre shop

You're the second member to have been quoted over £100 for one sensor from KwikFit recently.  I'm sure that's an error.  The sensors only cost around £30 direct from Ford!

For a Mk3 Focus with rubber valves I think it would have been 1862980 but these may be compatible.  Would be best checking with the seller directly.  Genuine Ford Tyre Pressure Control Sensor *TPMS* Ford Multi Fit 2318530 2562276 | eBay

Go to an independent tyre place that is rediculous pricing the tyre place near me done it all for £48.50 sensor and fitting.

Thanks everyone. Update on this: went to a local tyre shop who agreed to do it for 70 quid of one sensor. Apparently he scanned the 4 tyres and found all the sensors were fine and so he just reset the sensor on dashboard. Unfortunately while I drove again for about 8 miles the tpms light came back on. So I ordered the tpms reset tool from eBay and went to the training mode and found the right rear tyre sensor doesn't beep all others had a honk during training mode so I think that's the dead one. Now I don't understand how the tyre shop tpms scanner had all sensor with no issue? Next step I am going to order the sensor from eBay and get it replaced on rear tyre.

Update and fixed the tpms sensor. So I ordered 4 tpms sensor with part number 2318530 and tpms training tool and got it fitted from a local tyre shop who did it for 10 quids. The tpms sensor was trained thereafter using the Ford training tool and has worked. Thanks everyone.

What is this training tool, and why isn it needed? The reason I ask is that I bought a full size spare for my Focus off Ebay, still with its original 1/2 worn tyre fitted and its TPMS sensor. So I popped it onto the car to see what happened and it just worked, no issues at all!
