Engine management light on

Hi, thanks for the invite..my information light came on then the engine management light came on. I was advised by a neighbour who has a top of the range diagnostic tool that my Maf sensor or map sensor was not working..I replaced both plus there was a split in the intercooler hose which I replaced..the lights are still coming on after a couple of miles.. any suggestions would be appreciated..tia..

    did you or he clear the codes once new bits fitted, if so re-read for any new ones.

    thanks for the reply.. yes i cleared codes but eml and information light came back on after a couple of miles..codes now says.. POO6A.. map mass or volume air flow correlation..  using a lot of diesel as well as  slight miss at times..  cheers for any help,

    thanks i got my maf sensor sorted i replaced the new euro car parts sensor with the original ford one and eml does not come on m=now.. cheers

    i now have my central locking working on everything apart from the boot which does not lock..  any ideas anyone

    try changing the rubber boobie thing in the grab handle it has microswitches that can fail, generally less than a tenner on eBay etc. make sure you get the right one as theres 2

    Do you mean the tailgate can still be opened when the car is locked or it won't latch?

    If it's the former it obviously cant be the switch in the handle.
