Hi

im trying to install a Dashcam and need a permanent live from the fuse board under the  glove box but there is no fuse for any of the interior lights, hazards or normal safe permanent live. Can anyone suggest a suitable fuse.

thanks

You want the camera powered 24 hours a day ? or only when the ignition is on ?

The BlackVue has a unit which you can select  time when ignition is off hence it has an auxiliary connection and a permanent live. Yes I’ve set it for 24hrs. I’ve found a decent ignition live but not a permanent live. Usually you connect to a hazard or interior light circuit but all of that runs through the instrument panel so want to avoid that circuit if I can.

@Dougie12 Hope this helps:
