Diesel Box Sensor Issues

Featured Replies

Has anyone came across any issues with NOx sensors. I have potentially had to have mine replaced 3 times in the space of 20 months.

Reference I drive a 2020 Focus Diesel 1.6

Surely I can't be going through these sensors at this rate, the parts should be good for 10 year surely. I'm wondering at this point if its electrical?

Any thoughts?

Well I would be claiming warranty on the parts for a start, and using a different garage for the second thing.

Parts good for 10 years? I think not. Nox sensors are notorious for failing early and often. Ive done plenty with 10 miles on the clock. ( Not focus I should add)

I've taken/taking it back to the garage in which dealt with it last night (dealership) as it was replaced in May and part is guaranteed for a year.

I had a fiesta beforehand and had zero issues with it and it was a diesel too.

Just seems like new cars or at least newish cars are built so crap these days
