Focus CC door power issues.

Featured Replies

Recently my drivers window has stopped working, all the other ones are fine.

Ive checked the fuses and 34 had blown, so I replaced it.  Its still not working, Ive had the door cards off and can hear a click sound from the door control module when I operate the switch.

Since I replaced the fuse the battery is draining every day, (about 3 days if i take it of and charge it, its a brand new battery)  Ive checked the alternator wit a multimeter and Im getting over 14.5v so I assume its not that.

Ive replaced the window switch bank, as I thought it may have been that, the next thing I can think of changing is the drivers side door control module.

Also, I've removed the 2 connectors from it, and now my central locking. petrol flap and windows arnt working, but the battery seems to be holding its charge again

Could this be a faulty window motor thats causing this and draining the battery, if anyone has any thoughts on what it may be it would be appreciated as its driving me mad.

Thanks,

Warren.
