Wireless Android auto in MK4 (AA Wireless)

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Recently my Google Pixel 5 ran into a charger port issue so Android Auto in my 2019 MK4 Wagon wouldn't work. I looked into wireless AA adapters. There are oodles out there and I eventually settled on the AAWireless unit (£59:99 from Amazon).

It works really well, it does have a few foibles but I think I've got around them all and am dead impressed with it.

Sometimes the phone and AA Wireless unit don't talk to each other, to get around it, I just go into audio, then use the select inputs and chose bluetoot then my phone and it starts working again. I'd certainly recommend it.

I got a carsifi  wireless unit to save keep plugging the phone in. Easy to set up and so far never  failed to connect. Google maps comes in handy for traffic updates

got one myself (aa wireless) absolutely fantastic

never fails to connect to my car
