Hi all,

So I am looking for a replacement headlight for a 2006 S-Max. Found one online that has a part number almost identical to mine, only the last letter is different. Can anyone tell me the difference and whether these are direct replacements of each other?

Part numbers:

6m21-13d154-bk (donor car - 2011 Galaxy)

6m21-13d154-be (my car - 2006 S-Max)

    It's the exact same headlight, just a later date code.

    The very last letter is just a date/batch/revision. If the replacement letter is 'higher' or the same it will be just fine. There are very occasionally issues if the replacement has a letter that is lower and for that reason should if possible be avoided.
