Just a query any idea how much this service would cost on my Ford Fiesta 1.25 Zetec 2014 plate with service and timing belt change ?

    Your timing belt is a year and a bit overdue, also when I got mine done on my old car, it was £600 ISH pounds including water pump and serpentine belt and normal service. The serpentine belt has to be done anytime it needs to be removed as on that engine they are a stretch belt rather than a traditional belt with tensioner.

    Don't forgot change manual gearbox oil too!!! They recommend change per 100k miles!!!
    For automatic it's per roughty 50k miles.

    I had seen few ford with automatic gearbox failure because they didn't changed gearbox oils.

    There is no recommended gearbox oil change interval for the IB5.  It's a sealed box.

    100k scheduled service on the 1.25 is oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter.  (No spark plugs)

    Timing belt & waterpump is likely to be around £450 now.  Plus around £200 for the service.  Plus another £50 for brake fluid change if desired.  Estimate around £700 all in.

    Well I done mine at at sametime clutch replacement that was like at.. 110k miles.

    You can choose to do it whenever you like.  But there is no recommended interval specified by Ford.

    I just want peace at mind, I was told previous owner that owner before previous owner was carer that basically driving around house to house. That given me myself grey area.
