Hi Folks, 

looking for some recommendations on a Ford part suppliers for a replacement steering column, im having the known fault of a nocking noise when parking or turning slowly, I’ve had the steering rack, ball joints etc checked all fine and it’s been suggested it’s most likely the steering column. Can’t seem to find one on ebay, called local Ford dealers and they want £700 

The cars a 2012 Ford Fiesta mk7 1.6s Zetec 

any pointers to a supplier would be welcomed

Hey Danny,

Yeah cv joints checked, steering racks been checked, mechanic said the column is a common fault on the mk7’s and thinks that’s the issue.

I can hear a slight knock when turning the steering wheel when stationary and when I’m turning at a low speed its more noticeable. Was thinking of just changing the column but can’t seem to find that part anywhere for the 1.6s
