Upgraded to a 2019 Titanium Estate: a couple of questions

Featured Replies

Just px'd my 2002 FF 1.6 Zetec Manual Estate for a 2019 FF 1.0Ecoboost Auto Estate. Sad to see the old car go (only 99K on the clock) but I wanted an automatic as I am a lot older than when I purchased the Zetec in 2006(!).

Two questions: I know this is a bit stupid of me but I did not take a screenshot or print out the full description of the car I bought. I am curious about all the features and specs of the car. Is there anywhere I can go to get the full spec? (I bought it via an Autotrader Ad but that ad has gone now). Or can Ford somehow tell me?

Secondly, can Ford retrofit the auto boot opening feature (waving your foot under the bumper etc) onto an existing car. I know I can ask Ford but I wanted advice from someone else before I ask.

Thanks in advance if anyone has any advice.

Short answer No.

Longer answer is that until last year there used to be a Ford site called ETIS that would give that information but it has now been closed and there is no replacement.

Longer answer is does you car already have an electric opening tailgate ? If yes then an independant specialist may be able to add the "foot waving" option but it won't be cheap. If you have a manual opening tailgate then there are companies who will convert it to an electric one but expect to pay £2000
