Rusted Exhaust clip - Whats the replacement solution?

Featured Replies

So the exhaust was rattling on my 14 plate s-max and it seems the exhaust clip has rusted

From the looks of it the clip is part of the exhaust

So whats the solution aside from buying a new exhaust? or is it a new exhaust?

Option 1 would be to find someone able to weld it back on.

Option 2 would be to use one of the many exhaust hanger repair kits.

Just type in "exhaust hanger repair kit" on your search engine.

That backbox looks grim anyway.  If it's just the tip join that's rusted/leaking then that's acceptable but I'd definitely want to check the rest of the box before going to the hassle of a repair over replacement.
