Clutch pedal sticks down

Featured Replies

Hi have a 2019 C max .

Intermittently my clutch pedal sticks down and sometimes doesn’t feel right. If I put my foot under the pedal and flick it up all is ok again till the next time. Any ideas and solutions please .

Hi, sounds like a problem I had with a Renault 21 Turbo a while ago, there was a small cylinder with a spring inside (which had gone soft) same problem pedal needed lifting from underneath with your foot!

I replaced the spring (which improved it) but the clutch slave cylinder needed bleeding because it had lost a small amount of (Fluid) pressure? I imagine your slave cylinder (if that is what it is) is internal within the Bellhousing & may need replacing

Just my previous experience..

It maybe of help
