Park Break Malfunction

Featured Replies

Hi all. I hope you are all well

I have a 2019 ford focus, rear handbrake motor locks the handbrake but doesn’t release it - only one side.

Changed the motor and it’s still not working, caliper isn’t siezed either. Any ideas?

Cheers Alex  😀

Another member found a broken wire on the EPB loom so that's worth checking.

That code should be for the brake pedal switch.  Don't think it'll be anything to do with your one-sided handbrake fault but does seem an odd coincidence.
