Parking aid on a 2011 Fiesta

Featured Replies

I've a 2011 1.25 Fiesta that doesn't currently have any parking aid. As I wanted to replace the front bumper as was a aftermarket one and didn't fit well so have just bought a 2nd hand genuine one but this one had the parking sensors fitted. So, now I'm wondering how much work it would be to buy the rest of the parking aid system from the scrapyard I got the front bumper from and fit it.

Has anyone fitted the factory system into a car without it ?

Does anyone know the layout of the wiring, ie does it run down the drivers side (uk car) ?

Is there 2 modules, front and rear and where do they live ? And, I assume there is front and rear speaker or whatever makes to beeping but where are they ?
