Low fuel pressure ford galaxy

Hi everyone.  I have a 2007 ford galaxy 2.0 tdci with low  fuel pressure. Can anyone tell me if they have a fuel pump in the tank please or is it the high pressure fuel pump that draws it from there? I have took the pipe off going to the fuel  filter cranked it over and no fuel is being pumped through. Any help much appreciated 🙏

    Fairly sure these won't use a tank pump.

    The HP pump draws fuel in but can't suck air effectively.  If there's a small leak on the low pressure side, the fuel will drain back to the tank.  The only way to get it up again is by manually priming it with a hand pump.
