folks hope you can help..

my son has lost the bolt that holds the door lock in place.

it is ford fiesta 2009 1.4.

he had managed to snap the door handle (drivers side)

i have managed to get a handle and cap in colour..

but when you look thru the opening in the side of the door,  the bolt to secure the lock/barrel is missing

looking online/youtube i know it tx 20 - but i haven't been able to find the length or width of the bolt.

any info would be brill

Can you see the missing screw on the diagram below ?

That bolt isn't available separately.  Unless someone has a spare lying around, I think you'll struggle to find the dimensions.

Should be a TX25

It's probably in the bottom of the door

 

i reckon the bolt is in the bottom of the door - but due to sheer lazyness i don't want to have to strip the door down (it baltic at the moment)

its a good call about the door lock reinforcment kit.. i will look into that too..

if neither of those 2 options work i might check a scrapyard - and see if i can get the bolt from there
