2009 Fiesta Titanium wheels

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Having Looked for a 195/45/R16 7 spoke wheel rim for a ford fiesta 2009 titanium with or without tyre has proved expensive, is it possible to replace all the wheels with 195/45/R16 multi spoke or 195/50/R16 wheels?

many thanks

Andy

Yes, that's fine as long as they came from another Fiesta.

If you increase to a 50 profile, that will alter the speedo slightly, but probably not enough to worry about.

Both the sizes you mention were standard fit on one or other model of Mk 7 Fiesta, so should be fine. As Tom mentions, the 50 profile will cause the speedo to under read by about 2mph at 70+. You can check the effect of various sizes on calculators as below.

As you've presumably already discovered, Fiestas of that era were notorious for batches of "soft" alloy wheels so check any second hand wheels carefully.
