Focus front grill cracked

Featured Replies

Good evening.

I am preparing to sell my car and have noticed that there is a crack on the grill.

When I bought the car from the dealer, the chrome edge around the grill was loose and the dealer put some glue. This has now worn out. I applied hot glue with a gun and it doe not seem to stick.

What can I do here?

I suspect that a prospective buyer, like me, won't even notice it, and on a 15 year old car anyway is entirely acceptable. I'd be much more concerned at any rust on the car, not a very minor blemish on a plastic grill...

The black hot glue did not seem to work as it did not cling the shiny bit to the grill.

I instead used some strong superglue and it worked a treat!
