Drive shaft joint or tripod hub

Featured Replies

Hi all, I took on a job of replacing my drive shaft but it turned out little bit missy! I order left hand drive shaft, passenger side. It turned out longer than mine!

I returned it the supplier checked my VIN number again and insured me it was the right part showing on his system!

I since did my own investigation I found it’s the wrong one.
I found out by taking my original drive shaft model number.
im based in Ireland all the suppliers I rand don’t have it. I thought I might change the drive shaft joint as I opened mine. When I did the three bearing were so loos they came off the joint!

I don’t think this is normal to be that loose!

im thinking of changing only the joint if I can find it separately.
can anyone advise me please.
thank you in advance

please check the picture

my part number is 7G91 - 3B437 -BD
