MK3 Stereo Power Issue

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone,

First time poster and having an absolute mare with my stereo.

So i decided i wanted to change out the stock basic stereo in my Focus to a fully Android touch screen. Got a cheap one from ebay, got it all plugged in and nothing. Just figured id bought a dud and went to reinstall the stock stereo and all i get is power to the screen (Displaying time and date only, plus a little white cog) and no power to the ACM. No buttons work execpt for the door unlock and hazards. Did my due diligence and checked the main fuses and replaced them anyway and still nothing. I circuit tested the same fuses after and they are fine.

I have since bought a brand new unit from Amazon and the same issue persists, just no power going to the head units.

What is it that i am missing. Any ideas?
