just bought the van, i'd say the detachable towbar has never been detached, it's been in place the entire 4 years, so the lock won't turn, i managed to get the key in after a lot of wd and tapping, but not even sure the keys in the correct way,

does anyone know if the locks can be replaced? or do i have to buy a complete ball with lock?

and how on earth do i get it off?

it's the verticale type A40V

    I think you'll probably need a locksmith to drill it out, as with any other lock barrel.  Not sure if the barrels can be replaced or not.

    I had one of these about 10 years ago and always felt the keys were a bit weak but they never did break or seize during my ownership fortunately.
