Ford focus 1.4 petrol 2006 Mk2 -Hesitating

Featured Replies

Hi all I have 2006 1.4 petrol mk2 focus Duratec. When I am driving sometimes hesitates when accelerating. I am not getting any engine check light on.

I changed the ignition coil, spark plugs, change gap in plugs, new ignition leads, changed air filter, changed oil and oil filter. I have plugged in scan tool and I am getting no error codes or pending codes. I looked at live data and everything seems ok. The mileage is 350,000 km.

I expect that 'you' will be a bit hesitant when you've done 217479 miles 🤣

Especially when the engine left the factory with only 12 BHP!
