Slight flicker to halogen headlights

Afternoon All,

 

Any thoughts as to any area for potential investigation which might be causing a slight flickering of halogen headlights on idle - not cutting in and out, just moderately varying intensity on a rapid cycle, producing an effect a little like light from a candle that would dance up and down in intensity as air moves around it etc. Presuming bulbs are okay as fairly new and flickering is affecting all lighting to the same level rather than just one side etc.

 

Any thoughts as to a likely culprit?
